About me, I really am quite boring. I eat, sleep, go to work, read, write and not much else.
I am Australian, 39 (which keeps depressing me, but then I think Hubby is 47 so it's not really so bad) and live in Melbourne, Victoria. I have no kids, not through choice but through Grand Design. If it's not meant to be then it's not meant to be. We are planning lots of travel in our future lives.
I work fulltime in fashion administration, basically I sit in front of a computer all day and decide which stores should get which stock in our company. I have the power mwah ha ha ha (that is my evil laugh). Sitting in front of a computer though allows me to keep an eye on the shout box, see if my fave stories have been updated so I have some lunchtime reading and generally stay abreast of things.
I get most of my reading and writing done on the weekends and weeknights. I have never been one to sit and stare at the TV, I always had a book or puzzle or game in my hand. Now it is my laptop permanently connected to the internet (gotta love WIFI), with a word document open and an old-fashioned note-book and pen right beside me to jot down random thoughts and ideas that can become stories later.
I write exclusively for Harry Potter fandom and pretty much exclusively read only that as well. I love stories with Hermione as the central character and paired with almost anyone except Ron. Even JKR has said they have a life of antagonism and arguments. How can you be happy living like that? I like her most with Severus or Draco or Lucius or Harry. Recently I have read some with Cedric Diggory and they have been great. If I can think of a scenario I might jump on that tiny bandwagon. I also like stories where Severus becomes a father / mentor to Harry.
Anyway, I hope this gives you an insight to me and my mind. I love to chat, if you want to contact me please feel free and I truly hope you will check out my stories and that you enjoy them. Happy Reading!
