The Prompt: It’s been 20 years since the war and each Christmas since, Severus has received a bottle of fine Scotch.  He suspected Minerva after the first two years, but she denied sending it to him.  What happens when he discovers the recently widowed Hermione Weasley has been behind the gift all these years?

The Must Haves: Love.  Be it the love of friends or something more is up to you.  I’d like to be able to see where their relationship will go without necessarily having it spelled out for me.  Hermione is a mature woman who thinks about her decisions, but does not become an idiot about making personal decisions.  The children are level-headed.  Severus is over what happened during the war and is comfortable with the way his life has turned out.  He would, however, welcome a woman in his life either in friendship or more. Smut not required, but if you go there, make it lovely.
