The things a boy does for love…
When Skye enters high school, she becomes ensnared in a war between a group involving her sister and a group with sexy, oddly captivating Asher that Skye's liked for forever. How is someone supposed to choose a side when they don't know what they're fighting over? And how can someone decide between family and love? Skye tries to ascend the social pyramid of high school, but that's pretty difficult when you're competing against vampires and various other creatures--and the latter includes her older, spray-tan obsessed, popular older sister. She tries to stay close to her sister--or as close as an airhead and a straight-A high schooler can get--and, at the same time, get closer to Asher, the beautiful guy who is absolutely out of her league. Plus, he's in love with her sister. Some things she does right, some things get way out of whack (crazy high school parties, anyone?), and some things get so confusing that Skye can't tell up from down, black from white, right from wrong.
This is a small sad tale of an angel having to pick up the soul of the dead. The angels job is somewhat difficult but is needed to be done right. And only choose the right Angels to be sent down. Really there's nothing more to it than that. Hope you enjoy.

Got some bad news. A coping mechanism (poetry) about my coping mechanism (not coping).
When Anna was a little girl she loved fairytales. She loved them all. She loved the ones by the Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Anderson. Most of all, she loved the old Irish fairytales that her mother used to tell her, about lovely fairies, good and bad. She loved the ones with fairies the most because they could fly, and she always used to imagine that she could fly, just like the fairies. When she grew up she wanted to be a fairy.
She loved the stories that pitted good against evil, because the good always won. She loved the thought of a beautiful fairy princess verses an evil witch. She loved the thought that someday, a handsome prince might whisk her away and save her from everything that might hurt or scared her.
Then, when she was nine, her mother died, and she stopped loving fairytales, because she stopped believing in happily ever after.

I don't know how to describe this. It's just how I am feeling. I wrote this three days ago and have never been so uncertain about something I've written until now.
A poem about my thoughts on a devious man, everything I felt three months ago as I guessed that he would break my heart and he proved me right.
"To think too long about doing a thing often becomes its undoing." - Eva Young.
Most people assume that the girls sitting along the walls during balls, cotillions, and assemblies are to be pitied and looked down upon with no small amount of sympathy. Surely, they are sad creatures with uninteresting pasts, who have present lives of little consequence, and who will have bleak futures with no husbands, children or homes of their own, merely because they do not dance.
In the eyes of Violet Starling and her friends that made most people idiots.
